Hudson

My name is Sadie Roberts and I’m a wife and mom of four. My husband is actually completely blind. He began losing vision in the summer of 2017. That was a very hard time for our family as we had to figure out an entirely new way of life. I can look back and see so clearly key teaching moments that I missed with Hudson, because of our life's circumstances. If I'm not careful, I can let mom guilt get the best of me. When a friend introduced me to AILA it was a God send. I immediately loved AILA. Hudson is in speech therapy for a speech delay and AILA lessons focus on the same vocabulary and repetition that Hudson's speech classes do. With AILA, not only is Hudson learning his colors and to count, but he's hearing the key vocabulary over and over. Not only has AILA improved his speech exponentially, but it has given me confidence to kick the mom guilt. I read the AILA stories with Hudson and let AILA handle the lessons.
