"Since my career as a product designer for LeapFrog, we’ve seen lots of digital education content from all over the world on open platforms. Parents are overwhelmed sometimes because they really don’t have the time to research and curate the content for their young children. Animal Island Learning Adventure (AILA) is an original series of preschool content focusing on the whole child. The segments integrate a wide-range of preschool skills from numbers and letters to creativity, friendship skills, and understanding emotions. Animal Island Learning Adventure gives parents comfort while giving children a rich, kid-attuned experience."
Karen Chiang
Content Director
Karen Chiang has been involved in products and applications for education for over 30 years as a teacher, program administrator, publisher and general manager. Currently she is based in San Francisco, but has had extensive international experience in Asia Pacific, Latin America and Europe. Most recently, she was a VP of sales for Pearson Education covering the emerging markets as well as the clinical, talent and language assessment product lines. Prior to working with Pearson she held positions with Simon & Schuster, Cengage, Leapfrog and a variety of academic institutions. Karen also currently serves on the board of directors of Alelo, a company focused on the use of AI for communication training. A proud grandmother, she has a particular interest in the integration of technology into education.
